This summer I took a hobby of mine and started a book club at my church. It was quite an experiment...never knowing who was going to show up, what we would talk about, or if the club would sustain itself over the summer.
However, Book Club became a regular part of my summer on Thursday nights! We enjoyed alot of good food, stimulating conversations, and great fellowship. We read This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti. Different people took turns leading the discussion. It was a mix of high schoolers and college students and then one lonely 28 year old that shall remain nameless.

Great idea, Alicia! Haven't talked to you since our visit...but looks like you're enjoying your summer. We really love your house, by the way, and great that you're using one of your many break out rooms for your book club!
