Meet Baby Leung

If you haven't heard, we are expecting our first baby April 11, 2009! One of the reasons we wanted to announce the news so early was because we wanted people's prayers and support surrounding us during this important time. We also wanted to ask questions, questions, questions to all the experts out there!

Anyways, for the most part...the pregnancy has been great! No morning sickness or nausea. Alicia just gets tired a lot (which isn't much of a change) and tries to eat healthier (big change). One of our dear church friends is our doctor. We feel incredibly blessed to have such a talented & thoughtful doctor who shares our same spiritual values leading us in this journey.

Highlights of the pregnancy so far:

-Week 2: baby survives a week of camp food, late hours, and heat exhaustion at youth camp
-Week 6: baby survives a car accident that Mommy was in while on her way to get her first ultrasound
-Week 9ish: baby survives Hurricane Ike
-Week 11: baby survives some spotting by Mommy (too stressed???)

You can see that our little one is one tough cookie! We are really looking forward to getting over that 1st trimester hump and of course, finding out if this baby is a boy or a girl! Alicia thinks it's a boy and Ed has a feeling the baby is a girl. Either way, it'll be one of the biggest blessings in our lives! Thanks to everyone for your prayers!
