Christmas in Dallas

We headed to Dallas for a whirlwind Christmas celebration. Faith got to hang out with alot of cousins and baby friends. Faith gave us our Christmas gift by taking regular naps and being jolly "most of the time". Some highlights were meeting Baby Kaityln, Olivia, and Patrick, eating #21 at Little Hunan on Christmas Eve, watching the cousins run around, Mike's yummy roast, and hanging out with old friends like Shirley, Mindy, and the Mahs. We also got to Skype Mom and Dad in Singapore on Christmas Day so they wouldn't miss out on the Wong fun. Nathan celebrated his 4th birthday with a Speed Racer birthday cake. Trish and Kara gave our entire family UT gear so we're ready to go for the big game this week. Special thanks to Lisa & Mike, N, and B for hosting us for 5 days. Faith really loved Max -- the best dog in the world. We returned on Sunday and got back in time to help celebrate Payton's 3rd birthday party.
The car ride wasn't too bad. Faith would sleep on and off. When she was awake, Alicia would feed her or give her toys to play with. She would get antsy every now and then, but usually a puff or yogurt melt or the good ol' pacifier would do the trick. Thankfully, traffic wasn't too bad going up or down.
A couple of days before we were to head to Dallas, Faith was diagnosed with bronchialitis and an ear infection by Dr. C
onnie. We were worried that she was infect everyone and/or just be miserable the entire time...but God is so good to us! Faith was able to be on meds and a nebulizer days before our departure that really helped her feel better. She was almost 100% by the time we arrived in Dallas. The nebulizer machine also served two purposes: to dispense the medicine and act as a noise machine so she could sleep during the night. Yippee!
