Faith's babbles are becoming more frequent as she tries to communicate with us. She has become a pro at her new weekday schedule learning how to transition from mom, dad, the babysitter, Nana, the church member, and to Mother's Day Out. We've def. been enjoying this active stage and learning alot about parenting in the process!
Some things to remember this month:
- new foods/favorite foods: spinach, dried cranberries, pretzels, animal crackers, any cereal with milk, frozen yogurt, string cheese
- sleeping from 6:30pm to about 7:30/7:45am
- realized that she has an attachment to blankets, but it can be any blanket/piece of cloth (we even gave her a dish towel and she was fine with that)
- Austin road trip, saw cousin Max for the first time, 1st school picture, roseola, flu shot, watching Dad play flag football on Sunday afternoons
- loves to pretend to talk on the phone, knock on doors, do her puzzles, flip through books, watch the Wiggles and her shapes DVD, storytime with Dad at the library, shape sorter, drawing/scribbling, pretending to cook, run around in circles, take walks around the neighborhood, check the mail, feed herself with a fork or spoon (still not consistent throughout an entire meal), pretend feed her stuffed animals, say "hi" to strangers, put things in the trash, balloons & bubbles!
- new words: one, two, airplane, moo moo, baa baa, town, cracker, cookie, and basically any word that you ask her to repeat, she'll try to say it...
