Pau Pau left us after 3.5 weeks and now we're all learning how to adjust without that "third" person. Kate finally got off the bili lights after 3 weeks of life and is successfully nursing. We're giving her a bottle or two of expressed breastmilk which doesn't seem to like unless she's super hungry. Other than that, we're right on schedule with Babywise. Last night, she took her last feeding at 9:30pm, woke up to feed at 2:30am, went back to sleep until 6:30am for her morning feed. We'll see how it lasts, but I was super thankful that she slept so much. Just 2 more weeks until I go back to work which will be another adjustment.
At 1 month...
- survived Faith's head-butting and poking her eyes out
- went to the pediatrician more than 10x for bili checks and well visits
- likes to sleep on the boppy
- loves to fall asleep while being held and rocked (uh oh...bad habit forming)
- can move her head
- 8 lbs, 14 ounces at 2 month checkup
