Kate is sort of getting into a routine. It's hard because there are some stretches where we have to be in so many different places. But thank goodness she is pretty easy going. She does not like being in the car and still doesn't take the bottle all that well which can be quite stressful at times for Mom. Other than that, we're in cruise control until summer -- when we start a brand new schedule!
At 4 Months:
- Kate loves to be on the floor mat or exersaucer or be in the baby bjorn
- sleeps 2 long naps, 1 short nap, bedtime between 8-9pm on good days
- sleeps in the pack n play and then in Mom & Dad's bed at night (a bad habit that we started around 3 months old; we would have NEVER let Faith do this)
- will drink 1 ounce at a time from the bottle
- super thin hair that is sticking straight up! no hair in the front yet. sigh.
- likes music and watching television (uh oh!)
- can roll from tummy to back
- has started the dirty diaper blowouts (out of the diaper, out of her clothes, onto the floor/furniture)
- enjoys patty cake, row row row your boat, and simple songs w/ her sister helping w/ the hand motions
- might have a dimple!!!
- goes to Goo 4x a week for roughly 3 hrs a day
- long fingers/long toes
- loves it when Dad holds her
- rash started popping up on her arms...think it's heat rash, but it's pretty nasty. it will appear and then disappear. kate has super fair skin so I gotta watch the sun exposure.
- she gifted us these past few days w/ putting herself to sleep. we put her in the pack n play and she'll let out a cry or two..sometimes not even a cry...and she's out! don't know if it will last but it's pretty sweet that we don't have to rock, feed, or swaddle her. thank you, Jesus!
- 12 lb, 7.5 ounces (21.50%), 0.616m long (46.31%), Head 40.6cm (36.53%)
- We got the go ahead for solids!
