Belated 6 Months

swimming

At 6 Months:

• roll both ways
• broke out into a horrible rash all over her face, some on her arms and legs
• smiling and giggling
• sleeping 2-3 naps a day, going to bed anywhere between 8-10pm and sleeping until 7-8am
• taking the bottle w/ stride, loving the pacifier
• likes to sit up and play w/ her toys or get into her sister's toys/books
• 13 lbs, 13 ounces
• road trip to Austin
• started solids but rejected the mushy baby food...so we went straight to table foods via baby led weaning
• loves to eat puffs and cheerios, pears, carrots, and sweet potatoes (sorta)
  
• recognizes mom and dad now
• drooling, chewing on everything, grabbing things w/ her hands
• favorite toys: jungle mat & exercauser & stuffed animals
• started going to the church nursery
• laughs a little bit especially when being thrown in the air
• start pulling herself up...so we might need to drop the pack n play for safety reasons
• faith likes to say "no touch" and "good morning" and "Hi Baby Kate" and "MINE!" to her sister; they like to play tug of war occasionally w/ their books or trying to both get on Mom's lap
