Some big milestones to record for our baby Kate. It seems like I blinked and my newborn turned into a 7 month old. The hot summer kept us indoors most of the time, but we were able to get out and see lots of friends/family and host different things at our house. Kate joined us on all of the adventures. We are indeed blessed!

spent the night with Nana and Yeh Yeh while we were celebrating our anniversary -
started CRAWLING shortly after turning 7 months...and then throughout the week started pulling herself up w/ the furniture, trying to go up the stairs, and zipping through our living room w/ ease -
started EATING more solids...no baby food, but will eat small chunks of different foods; still a rather picky eater enjoying puffs & cheerios along w/ her milk -
no problem w/ the bottle! hurray! successfully nursing and doing the bottle! mom has to pump at work, but just 1x during the day. -
started a SLEEP SCHEDULE...Kate has settled into an early 7ish bedtime and wakes up 1x to eat during the night (usually around 10pm), sleeps until 6am, eats, and then goes back to sleep until 8ish; one morning nap and one afternoon nap (on good days about 1.5hrs long each!) -
seems more attached to us now...will crawl to our feet wherever we are and try to stand up using our legs, starting to cry if we leave her sight -
LOVES sitting up and playing/chewing with random baby items like spoons, water bottles, Faith's toys, etc. -
enjoys the sight of Faith and tries to keep up with her big sister -
"No touch moi moi!" is a common phrase in the house -
rash, rash, rash...we went to TX children's because she broke out into an awful rash; now on several topical ointments to keep it in check -
not much hair -- thin & wispy -
smiles when she sees family members, laughs when we laugh, has sharp ears and will turn at different noises -
I went back to work full time so Dad is taking care of Faith & Kate
