Summer is Over

Summer is over. Alicia went back to work. Ed is back in school and watching the girls full time. It's still over 100 degrees over here, but other than that...summer is over. Here are a few updates....
Faith (29 months) is everywhere! She likes to think she knows everything and can do everything. She's learning how to play with others, share, you know...the usual 2 yr old issues. She has successfully memorized 2 bible verses, can say her first and last name when asked, knows several letters, can count to 20 (hit or miss sometimes...but almost there), take off her diapers, tackle her sister, communicate in full sentences, and sleep like usual (1 nap, bedtime aroun 8pm). She's grown alot this summer -- being a big sister, physically, socially, and emotionally. Alicia was really sad to start full time as Faith is more aware of her mommy-time. But God has been good! Faith knows that when she wakes up from her nap, mom will usually be there. She loves to take thinks away from Kate, read books, eat fruit, play at the playground, see her Nana/Yeh Yeh, watch Wiggles/Sesame Street, and push her stroller around w/ bear bear. She's our bundle of joy, energizer bunny, and makes us laugh so much! Oh yes! She learned how to do a somersault!
We think Faith will be quite the comedian one day...she likes to mimic cookie monster when she is eating and say "Cookie Monster" as she gobbles down her food. She also likes to hang from different pieces of furniture and tell us that she's a monkey. She also likes to run around with her eyes closed just for fun.
this picture captures Kate these days
she crawls around alot and is content playing w/ random toys around the house
eating some cheerios that Faith stuffed in her mouth
Faith took this picture all by herself
