We're a little late on the 10 month post. Life has been busy. Here is what is going on with little Kate...not a baby anymore!
- 4 teeth with more on the way (two top and two bottom)
- talking/babbling including her first words "uh oh"
- Crawling everywhere...up the stairs, into cabinets, under furniture. She loves to get into her sister's business, cruise on furniture, and took her 1st steps (2-3) before crashing down.
- Her eczema spots have not changed -- cheek, chin, arms.
- Still a pretty happy baby, but horrible sleeper. Some nights she'll wake up 3-4 times a night. On a good night, she'll wake up 2x. 2 naps about a hour each and bedtime at 7pm. wakes up around 8ish. We've tried to let her cry a little bit before picking her up...but she's a stubborn one.
- Kate likes to clap her hands to music and has started playing peek a boo with her dad (bends down and hides, then pops back up).
- She's a lightweight. Her picky eating habits have continued. She eats small amounts of grapes, pears, tortilla, avocado, cheese, yogurt, and rice. Surprisingly, she loves to eat things off the floor. We've fished paper, stickers, and random toys out of her mouth. Her hair on top hasn't grown much.
- She got to go to 2 fall festivals, trick or treating, and Dewberry Farm this past month. Stranger anxiety has hit...the church nursery workers had to come and get Alicia b/c she wouldn't stop crying.
- What makes her happiest is when Faith plays with her
- still sleeps in the pack n play
- attached to her cloth diaper/burp cloth known as "woobie"
- sucks her two fingers to go to sleep
- has the longest fingers and longest eyelashes
