This past week we participated in the 30 Hour Famine with the youth. You can get more information about it through
http://www.30hourfamine.org/.Anyways, we had more kids this year then before...and we added a new event, the car wash! We raised over $400 for world hunger by offering a free car wash at the neighborhood Kroger. I think one of the best parts of the weekend was seeing our parents work together w/ their children.
Here is what we managed to do in 30 hours: concert of prayer, games,
lock-in at church, collected cans from neighborhoods in Katy, volunteered at Katy Christian Ministries, and held a car wash.
