Ed went off to youth camp and God provided me & Faith with some company! Marina and the three boys stayed from Monday through Sunday (Rob came in on Friday from work) at the house. It was so good to hang out with them the entire week. Faith was amazingly well-behaved considering the circumstances. I think she liked all the noise, hugs, and kisses from her cousins! I also got to see a glimpse of how hard my sister works every day of the year with THREE high-energy boys: ages 8, 3, & 2. Marina is a terrific mom and I hope that one day I'll be as patient, loving, and adventurous as her. I got to ask her a bunch of questions and observed her as she cared for each of her boys in different ways.

Week Highlights:

Monday: Faith's dr appt, picked Marina up at the airport, went grocery shopping with 4 kids and two grocery carts

Tuesday: Mary Peckham park for putt-putt golf, Beth and her two boys came over for a playdate, swimming at the beach club

Wednesday: Library program, Park, Ed comes back from camp, dinner celebration for Thomas & Derek with Kara & Chibong (who makes balloon animals)

Thursday: Alicia hosts a luncheon at the house for her co-workers, Marina goes to Katy Mills with all 3 boys, Children's Museum at night with the Chans & Angela

Friday: Inflatable Zone with the Chans & Chens, Robert comes into town, movie night

Saturday: Marina & Rob & boys spend all day & night with Rob's family; Ed & Alicia & Faith relax

Sunday: they leave; we go to church and have dinner with the Wus and Ed's side of the family
