Kate - 19 months

Kate celebrated her 19 months day by going swimming in Sugar Land, eating sushi, and taking a 2.5 hr nap. Hooray for her!  Here are a few milestones...

• has started saying NO, MINE, NO! NO! NO!, Daddy, and a few 2-3 word phrases; she's actually polite and consistently says thank you when you give her something
• sleeping around 7:30am, waking up around 8:30am, and napping around 2:00-4:00pm
• loves to play chase w/ her dad and sister
• likes to sing and dance!  and mimic people
• has started to eat a bit more...but her favorite still remains to be white rice
• likes to pretend to put diapers on her stuffed animals
• was the flowergirl for Auntie Trish's wedding and made it down w/ no problem!
• likes CFA chicken nuggets and french fries
• started putting her hair in pigtails -- hair very light brown and thin
• ezcema came back again
• wearing size 6 shoe already!  but can wear size 12 month clothes
• can communicate what she wants now -- pointing, using words, going and getting things herself
• likes to watch tv programs -- sesame street and Goodnight Gorilla
• loves Yeh Yeh and Nana - knows their names!
• has started to use a fork when she eats
• likes to sit and draw scribbles w/ a pen
• favorite toy: balls -- any types; she loves them!
• showing signs of athleticism by kicking, jumping with her 2 feet, running very fast, and trying to do somersaults
• enjoys playing with her sister, pretending to cook w/ the play kitchen, running into Buster Bear's arms, and giving hugs/kisses to anyone!
• 8 teeth 
• sucks her two fingers (pointer and middle finger) 
• can sing Jesus Loves Me and say her ABCs along with a few other songs like If You're Happy and You Know it
• hard to keep up with her now because she is so wiggly, but we love her personality and effort to keep up w/ her big sister
